What we make

Wallthings Considered is an independent canvas wall art studio. Every piece in the gallery is an original abstract composition — created, color-graded, and printed on demand for buyers across the United States. We believe a single bold canvas can change how a room feels, so we make pieces that work as a focal point above a couch, a bed, or a desk.

How a piece is made

Each artwork starts as a digital composition built from layered color studies and texture passes. The master file is then upscaled with an AI-assisted pipeline to 300 DPI so it stays crisp and detailed even at the largest 60×40 size. We export sized files for every canvas variant (18×12 up to 60×40), proof them for color accuracy, and hand them off to our US-based print partner.

Printing is on-demand: a piece is only made after you order. That keeps inventory zero and means we never throw out canvas. Production takes 3–5 business days; shipping is typically another 3–7 days from a US fulfillment center.

Why canvas, not paper or framed prints

Canvas wraps cleanly around solid wood stretcher bars, hangs flat, doesn't reflect glare, and ships ready to put on a hook with no framing required. It also handles being shipped well — there's no glass to break — which matters for the larger sizes.

We use a premium matte canvas so the surface reads more like a gallery painting than a photo print. The matte finish hides fingerprints and dust, and it photographs well in any room light.

Where to buy

Every artwork is sold through our Etsy shop. Etsy handles checkout, payment, customer messaging, and shipping logistics. If a piece arrives damaged, message us through the listing and we'll replace it free of charge.
